I'm getting a lot of gruff saying that "the Hydrostart computer control failed"?

The orinal question was: I'm getting a lot of gruff saying that the "Hydrostart computer control failed and was replaced with a manual control or manual override". Can you set me straight on this?

The Hydrostart winch still runs on the original automatic force and speed control software. A manual override is just one of the regulatory safety features that have been there since the winch is in operation. Because when it comes to safety, we can only rely on the winch driver's judgement. The automatic control sytem is not running the winch. It's there to assist the winch driver maintaining a constant quality and launch performance.

For obvious reasons some of our competitors are trying to bad mouth the Hydrostart by saying things like, "The automatic controls didn't work so they went back to manual". If you have any doubts or questions about our winch control system, just ask us.
